BIO

Hailing from Newfoundland, Darius brings his breadth of experience to Kuefler Stevenson Bennett LLP as one of our managing partners.

Darius began articling in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he also started his private practice which concentrated on defence work for the print media industry as well as insurance companies.

In 2000, Darius moved to Calgary, where he provided counsel to small manufacturing and service companies on issues ranging from contractual disputes, employment law and corporate governance. His work evolved with his client base to include wills & estate planning and all aspects of residential real estate transactions. Along-side his partners, Darius has maintained an active banking litigation and collections practice for one of Canada's big banks.

Darius joined the Kuefler Stevenson Bennett LLP team in 2009 and we couldn’t be happier.

Darius has appeared before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, and the Provincial Court (Civil) of Alberta.
